Stuart grew up on a farm in New Zealand enjoying a real taste of the outdoors, he and his family moved to the UK when he was 12. He finished school and jumped into college training as a Chef which started his 20 year career in hospitality where he has seen and heard it all, working mainly in Hotels ranging from a chef in the Savoy in London to Hotel Operations Manager in a prime sea facing hotel in Sussex.
During this time he has always loved spending his spare time in the garden growing his own vegetables with his kids and Shelley his long suffering partner. However the unpredictable and long hours he was working made him feel like he wanted a change. He soon realised his dream to get back to being outdoors and his enjoyment of gardening was the perfect match and here he is “living and loving the dream”.
